27th Annual   Boston Town

Band  Concert 2019

Dear Patron and Friend of the Boston Town Band,

The community is invited to join with their family, friends and neighbors to enjoy the Town of Boston's 27th Annual Christmas Concert performed by the Boston Town Band held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 2:00pm at the Boston Valley Elementary School 7476 Back Creek Rd.

Kyle Kohan, a retired music teacher from Frontier Schools, directs the 50+ member band this concert.  Mrs. Kohan had been directing the Boston Band since December 2002.

Opening the free concert will be Springville Community Chorale directed by Colleen Marcello Brecker, a featured soprano soloist with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.  The Chorale will focus on presenting musical selections appropriate for the Christmas Holidays.

Nathan Merrill, a baritone saxophone player with the Boston Band, will sing "The Christmas Song", while Michael Klein, a tenor vocalist, will return after a number of years to sing "O Holy Night".

Kate Capriotto joined the Boston Band this year singing various songs at the Band's Summer Concert.  At our Christmas Concert, Ms. Capriotto accompanied by the band will sing "A Most Wonderful Christmas" which includes "Winter Wonderland",  "I'll be Home For Christmas",  "Sant Claus Is Coming To Town", "Have Yourself A Merry Little Chirstmas", and "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year".

Following the free concert, the Band will provide cookies and punch in the School Cafeteria.

Please consider a Patron Membership -- The financial support we receive from our patrons provides for the administration of the band, music purchases, and compensation for our band director.  Please mail your Patron Membership to Boston Town Band, 7690 Back Creek Rd, Hamburg, NY 14075  $5 - Booster, $10 - Supporter, $25 - Director, $100 - Conductor.

Again, thank you for your past support and we look forward to seeing you at the concert on December 15th.  Please invite your friends!

Wishing you a Happy Holiday
