Library Fundraiser 2024

A great time had by all!
Picture
 Hello!

The Boston Free Library’s Summer Jamboree is on Thursday, July 25th from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Boston Town Hall Lions Shelter at 8500 Boston State Road, Boston, NY. There will be over 20 local craft/art vendors, live music by the Boston Town Band, hot dogs for sale, activities for the kids, an ice cream truck and a large basket raffle. We are excited to announce that we are adding mini golf this year! The event is free to attend and fun for the whole family!

Vendors include a lengthy list of local artisans and crafters with everything from fine art and photography to baked goods and much more. Child ID and the Police Explorers programs will be present as well as other local organizations including Odin’s Angels and Bread of Life Outreach.

The Friends of the Boston Library would like to thank their generous sponsors including Brunner’s Eatery, Bank of Holland, Nick Charlap’s Ice Cream, Comfort Zone Café, Jennifer Warren – State Farm Agency, and Cappellino Chevrolet.  We would also like to express our gratitude to Legislator John J. Mills for his donation of hot dogs. Many thanks to all the local businesses, vendors and individuals who have donated items to the basket raffle and supported the event in other ways.

All proceeds will benefit the Boston Free Library. Funds raised during the event go towards programming for all ages, maintenance of the library building, and towards the construction of an outdoor pavilion to expand the library’s programming space.

For more information about the event, or if you would like to join the Friends group, visit the Boston Free Library at 9475 Boston State Road, call (716) 941-3516, email [email protected], or follow the library on Facebook.

We look forward to seeing you all at the Boston Town Hall Lions Shelter on Thursday, July 25th!
