The Boston Town Clerk's Office is on the main level of Town Hall located at 8500 Boston State Rd, Boston NY. 
Regular business hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm

Taxes
You can pay your property taxes at the Town Clerk's office through June 30, 2022.   If you miss that date, you must mail your payment to:

School taxes must be paid to the town supporting your school.

Notary Public
The Town Clerks Office can notarize a document for you, free of charge!  You will need government issued identification at the time of signing.  Please don't sign the document until the Notary can witness you sign the document!

Marriage Licenses
You can apply for your marriage license at the Town Clerk’s Office. Both of you must be present and have the following:

  • Proper photo identification; either a driver’s license (or a non-driver’s ID card), passport or a Military ID.
  • Birth certificate.
  • Proof of end of all previous marriages.

The license is not valid until 24 hours after applying, is valid for 60 days, and costs $40 in 2019.


Parking permits
You can apply for a Parking Permit for the Disabled at the Town Clerk's Office.  Click or tap here for the New York State Application form  and here for the Town of Boston Parking Renewal form.  Please print and fill out the form, then bring it in!

Use of Town Facilities
You can apply to use Town Facilities like Town Parks and the Lion's Shelter or Town Hall rooms at the Town Clerk's Office.  Please click or tap here for the form for the Use of Facilities (mainly outdoor) or here for the form for the Use of Meeting Facilities (indoor).  Please print and fill out the form, then bring it in!
